We have an opportunity for a VR GP to join us at the Clarkson Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, working within an appropriately equipped consulting space, supported by a highly-skilled team of doctors, fabulous nurses and fantastic admin staff. There are several shift options available, including ‘open shift’ cover and holiday casual shifts, and/or working on a rotating roster throughout the week and on weekends. You will be provided with ample training on the job. 

Key functions of the position include:

• Providing skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients presenting to the Urgent Care Clinic

• Management of diagnostic tests; ordering, reviewing and informing patients of results

• Effective utilisation of GP skills to area of expertise, with patient referral to other providers with capability to support patient to receive high-level and coordinated health care.

• Consulting and collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal health care
